Healthy Babies is a program that provides support services for pregnant women and their families, and parenting support during the first year of baby’s life. I offer private one on one session’s to assist you with pre and post natal education in preparation for childbirth and parenting. Included in that is breastfeeding support, prenatal vitamins, food vouchers, monthly food box, infant health and development and child car seat installation.
I also run a weekly drop in group on Thursdays from 10.30-12 at the KCDC. The drop in is an excellent opportunity for your baby to play with other babies whilst you get to meet and chat with other families. We also have access to a Public Health Nurse twice a month, and guest speakers who provide information on infant nutrition and various parenting topics.
If you or someone you know would like more information and support during pregnancy or just after the birth of baby, please contact me. I accept self-referrals and referrals from Physicians, Public Health Unit, family members and other community agencies.
